Have a wonderful summer! + last Resource Round-Up

Counselor Corner  /  News & Events 5th graders and teachers playing soccer

It has been a whirlwind of a week around here. It was a joy to bring back the 5th grade vs. teachers soccer game and have some of our online students return for one last hurrah! Mr. Smith made some videos of both games:

We also recognized our Presidential Award Winners and Students of the Quarter:

And end the year with a virtual field day and a “reverse parade” to return chromebooks and say goodbye:

Friends, this has been my 10th year at Lincoln Park and what a year it has been! Simultaneously the longest and the shortest, it had SO MANY twists and turns. I’m so proud of how hard our students worked, how much they taught US about technology and how flexible they were able to be. Looking forward to next year, I am full of hopes and dreams for what we can build together!

I can’t let you go without one more story! This was recorded for the 5th graders, but really, What The Road Said by Cleo Wade and Lucie de Moyencourt is a good book for anyone. Be kind, teach peace, lead with love. Have a wonderful summer – may it be filled with quality time with your nearest and dearest.
