As I hope you’ve heard already, Governor Brown has ordered that all elementary school open for in-person instruction by March 29th. While there are many details to be sorted out, I am SO EXCITED to have students back in the building. Keep your eyes on your preferred modes of communication and the district’s web presence for the most recent updates and information. If your student is planning on coming to the building for in-person instruction, please review our Hybrid Expectations.
A lot of kids told me this week that they didn’t remember where things were in the building. I did a quick virtual tour this morning.
What a whirlwind of a week it has been. In Kindergarten, we had so many ideas for how to spread kindness! I was inspired. First grade learned how to find their Peaceful Spots – good practice with so much going on this week 😉 Online safety wrapped up the fourth grade guidance unit – it was really wonderful to see how supportive and helpful students are with each other. It is still Women’s History Month, too! This week’s story comes all the way from Nepal – Mighty Mira. Have you ever tried something new like she did?
